In ‘Tinka and the King's Game’, there is again drama about the throne in the otherwise peaceful elves town of Kongsby, because the king does not return home from his journey around the Kingdom of the Elves. That triggers a 'King's Game' - a competition between the kingdom's four regions, each of which poses with its strongest combatant (the so-called king subjects). The winner will be the king of the elves.
To prove his worth and save the kingdom, Tinka - with the help of her best friend Lasse - manages to secure one of the four places in the King's Game. But strong forces try to stop her. Not only does each of the other three royal subjects want to split the Kingdom of the Elves. In the Tower of Loneliness, Prince Phileas sits and plans how he himself - together with his faithful general, the one-eyed Ingi - can take over the throne.
The king game develops dramatically, and Tinka must once again use her abilities as half elf and half human to gather both friends and opponents in the battle to win power - or lose it forever. - julestads.dk.
